Abstract

The article analyzes views of freshmen on the satisfaction of the educational process in the humanities departments of the medical school on the example of monitoring of the educational process at the Chair of History, Economics and Law of Ural State Medical Academy. Authors shows existing of some decrease in the interest of students to humanitarian disciplines in comparison with previous years. The authors explain the problem with low general education level of freshmen and challenges of transition to new educational standards. Proposes measures to increase interest among students in the study of humanities.
