Abstract

In the survey took part 291 health worker (doctors, nurses, other medical staff) of hospitals in Sverdlovsk region. The questionnaire included questions about awareness of hygiene and antisepsis of the hands, as well as problems with the hands and understand the importance of hand care. The studies revealed a low level of knowledge of the rules of antisepsis of the hands among doctors and among nurses and other medical staff. Best of knowledge are medical staff with experience of 5-10 years. Problems with the skin of the hands often (72,3%) are nurses. The actual application of knowledge of hygiene and antisepsis of the hands, according to the observations, very little. Carry out hygienic hand antiseptics before touching the patient only 23.2% of respondents.
